Upcoming Events July 27- August 3

Bishkek Open-2012 Tournament
Till July 28: International tournament among juniors in tennis. Participants will meet at the courts of Tennis Academy to identify the strongest in the singles and doubles. 48 tennis players from 11 countries including three representatives of our country will start in the men's side of the tournament. 31 athletes of the five countries, among which six are from Kyrgyzstan, will perform in girls’ competitions.

Nomadic Art Camp
Till July 29: The exhibition of modern art “Biocultural heritage and identity” in the frameworks of the international project Nomadic Art Camp will take place in the Museum o Fine Arts in the named of G.Aitiev. There will be exhibited art works of more than 30 artists from different countries.

"Spotted Dog Running at the Edge of the sea"
Till July 25: Exhibition of Vadim Bulagin dedicated to Chingiz Aitmatov’s creativity. Opening at 14:00. Place: KNMI named after Gapar Aitiev.

Pump track race
July 29: Tournament will take place at the Freedom Extreme park. Pump- track is a special cycling route, which is the alternation of holes, bumps and counter corners. It does not contain smooth areas. It starts at 7.00pm.

«Rebellion in 1916»
From 26 July to 1 September: The exhibition presents photodocu-mentary materials reveal the cause, nature, events and historical significance of the popular rebellion in 1916. Artifacts from the collection of duffel SHM KR also complement the exhibition: suitcase, bullet molds, the weapon since the beginning of XX century, rifle and baton,, clothing. The exhibition is open every day except Monday from 10.00 to 18.00

Concert of classical music
August 1: Winner of international competitions, graduate Mannes College of Music in New York City, pianist Azamat Sydykov, violinists from Austria Andreas and Raykan Ayzenhaut, trumpeter from Kyrgyzstan Uluk Raimbekov. The National Philharmonic Hall T.Satylganova. With the assistance of "Initiative of Roza Otunbaeva."

Cycle race
August 4: Bike Ride starts on August 4 on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul and will finish crossing the northern shore of a lake. Race will be held in two stages. The event aims to promote cycling and tourism development in Kyrgyzstan.

Regatta
August 5: The first Cup start sailing regatta “Issyk-Kul Grand Prix”. Five sailing yachts from Kazakhstan, the USA and Europe will participate in regatta. The initiators of this event: Kyrgyz citizens living in Kazakhstan.

Jeep Festival
August 5: The event will take place at the site "Hortisa" - on the bypass road, two kilometers west of Vasilevsky tract. Distance of the race is a circular route, special stages, the length of 1000 meters. ATV, UTV, cars, TP-1 TP-2 TP-3 vehicles are permitted.

"The written heritage of the ancient Kyrgyzstan"
Permanent exhibition: The exhibition tells the history of research and necessity to preserve unique monuments which are the bearers of tradition and the written material evidence of historical events in our country.
The museum is open every day except Monday from 10.00 to 18.00 without a break.

"The gold of ancient Kyrgyzstan"
Permanent exhibition: Presents excellent examples of Saka "animal style" gold jewelry clothing and headwear, women's and men's jewelery, rich furniture horse equipment, gilt bronze Buddhist statues. The exhibition runs from Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

"Gifts to Kyrgyzstan"
Permanent exhibition: This exhibition is closely connected with the history of Kyrgyzstan and reflects the main events of social, political and cultural life of the Kyrgyzstan during the XX century and the period of the sovereignty of Kyrgyzskoy.
The exhibition features more than 2,000 gifts. The formation of the collection began in the 50s of XX century.
